What can I expect as a first-time guest?
We realize that visiting a church for the first time can be an uncomfortable experience. We make every attempt to ease your apprehension and make you feel welcome at Christ Community. When you walk into the front doors, you will find a Welcome Center in the lobby. This Welcome Center is there with you in mind! If you need to know where to take your child or where the restrooms are, you can ask one of our friendly volunteers. If you want more information about our church, the Welcome Center is the place to do that.
As you walk into the main area of the Worship Center, you will be handed one of our Welcome Folders. This informative packet contains the notes for the day's message and information about events going on at Christ Community Church. As you find a seat and settle into the service, don't worry, we won't ask you to stand as a first-time guest or embarrass you in any way.
We view ourselves as a family, and we welcome you to join us!

What is the Evangelical Free Church?
The Evangelical Free Church of America is an association of some 1,400 autonomous churches united by a mutual commitment to serve our Lord Jesus Christ with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and obedience to the Word of God. We are committed to cooperate with one another in ministry and fellowship as we seek to fulfill the Great Commission which Christ has entrusted to His Church. The growing ministry of the EFCA currently extends to some 40 countries of the world.
The term "Evangelical" refers to our commitment to the proclamation of the Gospel and to the authority of Scriptures as being inerrant in the original autographs and the only safe and sufficient guide to faith and practice. The term "Free" refers to our form of church government as being congregational. Evangelical Free Churches depend upon the active participation of lay people in decisions and directions.
