Driving down the street the other day, I passed a compact car lumbering along burdened with what seemed to me an excessive weight far exceeding the manufacture’s design. I kept wondering if the springs were going to give way or the tires were going to burst. I sensed a wreck waiting to happen. My fearful unease quickly eclipsed my curiosity so I pushed my pedal to the metal and quickly zipped passed the driver who seemed as overburdened as his car. I wonder if he ever made it to his destination. more >

Look who's turning 70!

Youthfront turns 70 years old and wants to celebrate with you! Yippeee! Who doesn't like a party? Generations from the past 70 years--volunteers, staff, and campers will come together this Saturday, June 22 to celebrate this momentous occasion. The fun begins at 2pm. All the water attractions will be open. (To all you parents struggling to manage your kids' summer boredom, let me repeat myself: ALL THE WATER ATTRACTIONS WILL BE OPEN! #Iamnotmykids'cruisedirector.)
So head on over to Youthfront Camp West in Edgerton, Kansas (directions) and party with us! In addition to all the fun, there will also be a groundbreaking ceremony for the new activity center.
